Classified Going International With “Self Explanatory”

Classified joined the Black Box Music family in 2007 just prior to the release of his retrospective CD/DVD, “While You Were Sleeping”. The proud East Coast native of Enfield, NS., has impressed the music industry for years with his work ethic and “DIY” attitude. Classified started his own record label to release his albums, as well as albums from other up and coming East Coast artists (Chad Hatcher, Jordan Croucher, Mic Boyd).

With 5 releases, over 15 videos, multiple national tours and legions of underground fans to his credit, Classified took the next step in releasing “Self Explanatory” this past April through Sony Music. Following a sold out Canadian headline tour, and appearances at SXSW and a European Tour alongside D-12, Classified has now set his sights on Australia. The record will be out in Oz on June 26th, and he’ll be joining Australian hip hop heavyweights Hilltop Hoods for a national tour in July.
