Shad to Host CBC's Q

CBC announced today that Shad will be a guest host on their flagship radio program, "Q", next week - January 26th through 30th. Guests will include The Rural Alberta Advantage and more. Tune in live at 10AM local time on CBC Radio 1 across the country, or on Public Radio International (PRI) around the world.

Congrats to Shad - he's consistently been an important voice in Canadian culture over the last 7 years, and we're ecstatic that he'll be able to showcase to such a broad audience hosting Q next week.
Lyon Releases "Catch Me If I Fall" Video

Toronto indie-pop songstress LYON has shared more new music today, revealing the beautiful video for "Catch Me If I Fall". The video was directed by Sean McLeod and supported generously by MuchFACT.

"Catch Me If I Fall" follows her recent single "Cut Me Loose" (SoundCloud) which was recently featured as CBC Here and Now's Song of the Week for this week. This new material all bodes well for a new album coming later this year - so stay tuned!
Northcote Announces North American Tour w/Gaslight Anthem

Northcote is kicking 2015 off with a bang, announcing that they will join The Gaslight Anthem on their 21-date North American tour running February 26th through March 28th (dates below). Tickets are on sale now! The Scandals and Sammy Kay will also be on select dates. This will be Northcote's first trip in the US with a full band.

We will have news on a NEW Northcote album coming around that time as well, in the next few weeks. Stand by for that. Huge thanks to Gaslight for having Northcote out on this run, it's going to be a doozie. The Glorious Sons have been one of the hardest working bands in Canada over the last twelve months. With 4 national tours, 3 top-10 radio singles, an EP and an album, they've taken Canada's rock scene by storm. The Provincial Archive Win The Edmonton Music Prize

We are very proud of The Provincial Archive, who were awarded the prestigious Edmonton Music Prize last night at an event in Edmonton for their album "It's All Shaken Wonder". The winner is selected by a panel of industry experts from a short list of 10 albums.

The band has just finished a busy month of touring, starting across Western Canada with The Strumbellas and continuing overseas supporting Germany's Talking To Turtles.
